Condolence: May you be comforted by God’s promise to “destroy death forever” (Isaiah 25:8). That the resurrection is real is demonstrated by Jesus at John 11:19-44 where he raised Lazarus to life after 4 days in the grave. This and other resurrection accounts are a demonstration of what Jehovah will do on a far grander scale in the paradise earth to come. Envision the reunions as dear friends and relatives, once separated by death, embrace this dear one again! See this at jw.org in the video "Is There Hope for the Dead?" May the God of all comfort strengthen the family at this time of loss.
